Mineral Rights Analyst – GM372

The Mineral Rights Analyst will be responsible for keeping the Mineral Rights in good standing, as well as maintaining the Mineral Rights database organized and updated in order to provide technical support in all Mineral Rights issues and contribute to the consolidation of property at mineral projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Present legal documents to authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Follow up of legal processes until result is obtained.
• To maintain processes filed, organized and updated.
• Create new digital databases.
• Create applications, forms, graphs, using computer systems, fulfilling requests presented to the mineral rights area from other areas in the organisation.
• Investigate and keep updated in all applicable norms, decrees, procedures and new laws under evaluation process or in force.
• Update and follow up filings in the mining producers register.
• Provide support to all requests in the mineral rights department aiming to achieving the best solution in the shortest possible term.
• To support technically the development of all activities taking place in the mineral rights area.
• From time to time, lead or participate in project reviews or project assessments of mineral projects or third party projects under review, subject to the applicable confidentiality and/or access to information restrictions.
• Alert his/her supervisor of any significant business opportunities that may come to his knowledge for consideration to management
• To negotiate with the managers the resources and the priorities necessary for the accomplishment of the services, and to insure their physical-financial execution.
• To implement and if required suggest improvements of operational procedures relatively to the tasks he is in charge of and develop or assist developing new protocols if necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
• Greenfield mineral exploration title and land management expertise and experience
• Strong systems and process discipline, including sound knowledge of mineral exploration title information systems
• Commercial and legal acumen
• Title management industry visibility, networking and know how
• Good reporting, presentation and communications skills
• Balanced analytical skills with sound judgment
• Good understanding of exploration, mining Industry and business cycle
• Experience in working across different disciplines and in a global context
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety codes and procedures, and awareness of inherent risks in exploration-related operations
