A client is urgently seeking an Environmental Control Officer that will monitor, manage and co-ordinate environmental control activities their exploration projects and mines.

DUTIES:

·         Monitoring and reporting of performance in line with the relevant legal framework or approved EMP’s

·         Liaison with relevant government departments and other stakeholders on all environmental issues

·         Initiation of EIA’s, IWULA, and EMP’s for exploration projects and mines

·         Management of consultants conducting EIA’s and compiling EMP’s

·         Ensure all projects comply with the MPRD, NEMA and other relevant Acts as well as EMP’s

Section Engineer – Coal Mining

Responsibilities
• Ensure appropriate appointments in terms of the Mine, Health and Safety Act are in place
• Ensure all emergency and shut down procedures are identified and implemented
• Optimize planned maintenance schedules and practices in place, including condition monitoring.
• Management of Maintenance contracts

You will need:
