Environmental Manager – Oil and Gas

The Environmental Manager will be responsible for the monitoring of the Environmental Management relating to my clients onshore operations in Nigeria as well as controlling environmental methodologies and techniques.

Responsibilities
• To monitor the environmental management of the site implementing control techniques and methodologies
• To check the conformity fulfilment and verification in the environment issues for the activity developed to the related organizational unit
• To plan and track environmental issues in operations
• To ensure that knowledge of environmental protection standards and regulations (on emissions in air, soil and water, acoustic emissions and waste management) is updated and disseminated
• To ensure that environmental management system conforms to certification standards and Company policies
• To use techniques and operating methods for environmental planning, training and control
• To manage environmental obligations and conformity assessments for activities at an organizational Unit level, and oversee reporting
• To conduct internal environmental audits

Requirements
• Degree in Environmental Management/Sciences with preference given to advanced degrees
• At least 5 years Environmental Management experience within the Oil and Gas sector
• Experience within an Oil and Gas contracting company will be an advantage
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrable knowledge of environmental systems and methodologies

This position will be offered on a single status, 12 month renewable contract on a 75/21 rotation. The salary offered will be up to US$6000 per month – final package offered will be in line with experience and knowledge. Vice President Projects – Diamond Mining

Responsible for all project and development evaluation aspects of the company’s operations. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, and project management aspects of the company.

Responsibilities

• A successful background in project management, being well organized, detail oriented with excellent technical writing skills
• The ability to communicate at all levels with clients and within the management team; and, a current Professional Engineering designation and PMP credentials
• Shall posses the ability to motivate teams to produce quality deliverables within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
• Shall be able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously

Senior Metallurgist – Flotation

The Senior Metallurgist is responsible for managing all the analysis/test work using flotation technologies/principals whilst overseeing the daily operations of the department.

Responsibilities
• Design and costing of metallurgical testwork programmes in liaison with client and participate in project decision making

• Experience with Gold and Copper Flotation will be an advantage

Desired Qualifications:
