Regional Marketing Manager – Laboratory Environment

You will be responsible for pro-actively selling and promoting my client’s product range, driving new business development and performing market research in order to generate revenue for all divisions within the organisation.

Responsibilities
• Create overall marketing strategy
• Research, develop and implement marketing strategy
• Business plan development and identify potential customers
• Making every effort to maximize both sales and long term profit
• Proposal generation and problem solving.
• Client visits, build relationships with key clients.
• Securing of orders.
• Conduct documented sales planning as per KPI’s targets set by Regional Managing Director and specific Divisional Business Manager.
• Implement the Sales and Marketing Plan for South Africa and Tropical Africa.
• Ensure targets for proposals, clients visits, sales of new clients and sales revenue for specific divisions are achieved
• Proposal follow-up on all proposals in accordance with sales policies and procedures,
• Manage customer satisfaction surveys and report results and trends when required to do so, and include in a Monthly Sales Report (Dashboard report, Detailed Proposals Presented and Accepted, plus updated Actions report on clients visited).

Requirements
• Relevant degree or diploma (Marketing, Business Management)
• An additional degree in Science or Chemistry will be an advantage
• At least 5 years experience operating at a senior level in a similar environment
• Strong managerial and leadership skills
• Financial (business plan development) experience
