HoD – Client Liaison for Geochemistry Dept

As HoD you will be responsible for all aspects regarding the Client Communication and Administrative functions for the Analytical division as well as manage the Sample Logistics personnel and processes

Responsibilities
• Accountable for all analytical reports and invoices to be generated correctly and sent to the correct client on time
• Accountable for the reconciliation of monthly departmental revenue with accounts department
• Assisting Finance team with debt collection/remittances and allocation
• Assist with the compilation monthly production plan in line with clients’ requirements
• Draw up quotations / proposals as per client requests in a timely manner
• Monthly Revenue forecasting as per the monthly production plan.
• Oversee the client liaison function
• Assist satellite branches with information on clients, methods, quotes and invoices
• Accountable for formulating changes, improving work flow and maximum utilization of resources in the departments.
• Overall accountable for development, effective utilization and supervision of human resources within the department, including training, recruitment and IR issues.
• Ensure compliance and / or effective execution of all company policies

Requirements
• B-degree with good communication skills. Mathematics background would be an added advantage.
• A Strong Financial background / qualification will be an added advantage
• Must be fully acquainted with the LIMS system (CCLASS EL).
• Minimum 5 years experience in the administrative and financial aspects of Analytical Chemistry Services
• Minimum 5 years experience in a commercial laboratory environment
• Proven Management sills
