An international mining company that has operations in South Africa and beyond is currently seeking an Earth Moving Machinery Engineer to join their world class team.
To be successful for this position the candidate has to have the following;
• Minimum of 2 years managerial experience
• Mechanical Engineering qualification or relevant degree
• 5 years’ experience (the least) in the open cast mining industry as an Earth Moving Machinery Engineer
The role of this successful candidate will be to conduct continuous development and coaching regarding best practices within the HME discipline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Expert support and provision of operational technical support to the relevant business units and mines sites
• Administration coordination of all HME standards or guidelines
• Monitoring technical compliance towards the standards / guidelines
• Strategic coordination of HME spares within company
• Identify improvement opportunities in the HME environment and deliver support on execution thereof
