Chief Surveyor (Mpumalanga: Ref NM26)

A leading South African mining company is urgently seeking a Chief Surveyor for their underground and opencast mines.

To be successful for this role the candidate has to have the following;

·         B. Tech in Minerals Surveying

·         A Mine Surveyor’s certificate of competency

·         Worked as a Senior Surveyor for at least 5 years in Mining Survey as

·         3 Years Micro Station/CAD experience

·         At least 2 years GPS experience

·         Underground and Opencast Mining experience as a Chief Surveyor

·         Surveyor software Modelmaker, Surpac and Minex

This candidate will be responsible for the entire management of the company’s survey department, planning of mine, Payment of contractors (opencast) and Monthly report writing
