Our client providing mineral processing and infrastructure solutions is urgently seeking a General Manager for South Africa.
OBJECTIVE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment selection, inspection, construction assistance, commissioning, strategic management of project delivery for their clients and business development. This includes management of highly competent technical staff, commercialization of technologies and strategic long term business management.
REQUIREMENTS:
· This successful candidate should have a relevant engineering degree
· 10 years’ experience in the copper and gold processing industry.
· 10 years’ experience in delivery of international (SADC region specifically) projects environment across a wide range of contracts, principally in minerals and metals processing is also essential
· Chemical plant exposure and project engineering experience would be an advantage.
