Senior Environmental Scientist sought to provide environmental advice, manage environmental processes and prepare the required technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct and manage EISs, PPPs & SEAs and other environmental investigations according to the applicable legislation.
• Business development and client relations.
• Provide input for strategic assessment, policy development and reporting.
• Develop, plan, coordinate and facilitate PPP.
• Client and authority liaison.
• Compile, review and approve project proposals and environmental reports.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans.
• Conduct environmental monitoring, review and audits.
• Mentoring of junior staff.
Requirements:
• Masters degree in Environmental Sciences / Environmental Management or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Computer literate on MS Office applications.
• Project management skills and marketing abilities.
• At least 6 years environmental management experience.
• Experience in EIAs, EMPs, SEAs and PPSs.
• Proven track record in project management of EIAs, SEAs (full life cycle) including the management of staff, time and budget allocation.
