My client, a leading independent stockbroker, is currently seeking an experienced mining analyst to join their team. With a passion for investments and financial markets, this is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded analyst to move towards building their own franchise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research of listed equities in the South African mining sector (the decision on what companies will be covered will be taken in conjunction with the successful candidate)
• Producing unique, insightful research that provides our clients with actionable investment ideas
• Creating and maintaining financial forecasts and valuations
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Build and maintain relationships with company management teams and industry experts
REQUIREMENTS
• A relevant tertiary qualification from an acknowledged institution, MBA a distinct advantage
• Rated small and mid cap mining analyst that wants to broaden their scope and cover large caps
• Or junior analyst that worked under a rated analyst covering the mining sector
• Or person that have worked at one of the large mining houses as an engineer/geologist/financial role
