Our world class industrial iron ore processing client is currently seeking a General Manager to provide
leadership on all aspects of operational management of their operating unit
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Environmental, Safety and other legislation and norms compliance
· Managing all assigned assets
· Revenue optimization, operations and cost efficiency
· Planning, co-development and implementation of operations strategy
· Achieve short and long-term financial goals
· Achieve customer service and technical standards
· Contribute to formulation of related policies and strategies
· Staff performance and competence management
To be successful for this role a candidate has to have the following:
· Or Post Graduate Executive Education
· 12 -15 Years post qualification working experience in an industrial environment
· Sound knowledge of all aspects of Operational Management
· Post graduate qualification in Business Management (MBA/MBL)
· NQF 7 B-Engineering qualification
