This position is based within an Environmental Laboratory, conducting analytical testing for a range of clients across various sectors. As Customer Services Coordinator/Communication Manager you will be responsible for all communications with internal and external clients. This includes acting as facilitator for all client and customer service as well as supporting operations staff (Technical Supervisor) with scheduling priorities in order to maintain service deadlines for all clients.
Responsibilities:
• Delivers reports to meet TAT and error free (KPI TAT and CAR)
• Ensuring services respond to and meet the requirements of clients and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares proposals, quotations and client correspondence.
• Seeks expert technical advice from technical staff
• Provides management with regular workload forecasts and client updates, and sales reports.
• Promotes the capabilities, facilities, personnel and experience of the Environmental Services Department.
• Evaluate data in both a signatory and quality role but shall not report opinions and interpretations
• Build relationships with all professional personnel and both internal and external clients
• Assist with the evaluation and root cause analysis of customer complaints
• Comply with health, safety and environmental acts, regulations and requirements.
• Travel, shift work and overtime may be required.
• Ensure that the laboratory accreditation under ISO 17025 is not jeopardised
Requirements
• B.Sc. degree in science or College Diploma with equivalent work experience
• 8 Years work experience in a testing environment
• 5 Years management system experience (ISO 9000, 17025 or other)
• Advance Microsoft software experience
• Document and report writing experience
• Statistical Quality Control knowledge
