The incumbent will be responsible for demand forecasting and modelling for Strategic Procurement whilst monitoring costing and market intelligence trends.
Responsibilities
• Demand capture and analysis of projects and operations. Through this analysis, identify risks and opportunities in order to support strategic decisions
• Analysis of spend and based on economic scenarios make spend forecast
• Develop the budget for some strategic categories
• Monitoring market news regarding mining projects, suppliers and competitors
• Develop market intelligence studies and reports in order to identify risk and opportunities
Requirements:
• Relevant Degree in Business Administration
• 5 – 8 years experience gained in a similar role with exposure to working with a diversified set of clients across a number of countries
• Experience in mining projects and supplier management
• Project Management experience will be a distinct advantage
• French and/or Portuguese language skills will be distinct advantage
