The successful incumbent will provide and coordinate technical & theory training, coach and co-ordinate training on all mining related equipment in the Group.
Responsibilities
• Compile and manage a group training program for the company.
• Evaluate standards and practices as per policies and procedures
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of the WSP.
• Co-ordinate technical and nontechnical Training and interact with service providers.
• Manage all training committee meetings and do all other training assessments
• Prioritize and assign work to allocated service provider to ensure delivery according to client needs
• Recommend and incorporate cost saving initiatives into budgets and control expenditure within the approved parameters
• Implement training and development
• Evaluate training standards and practices
• Adhere to the mine safety standards
• Monitor individual training progress according to company standards
• Function as a member of a project team, co-ordinate and/ or perform project activities
• Management of Learnership/Apprenticeship Program.
Requirements
• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or Training Certificate/Diploma
• Valid Trade Certificate
• Assessor certificate
• 3-5 years training experience
• 3-5 years mining experience
• Code EB drivers’ license
• Must be medically, physically fit and have a clear security clearance
