Medical Officer X2 – Free State

An international mining giant has the Medical Officer positions available at their local hospital. To be successful candidates must have had done Community Service to qualify for HPCSA registration as an independent medical practitioner.

Responsibilities:

·         Disability management, Primary Health Care management and pro-active health care

·         Coordinating with the with relevant stakeholders – Preferred service providers, shaft management, COO

·         Education of support and Nursing staff

·         Disease Management and Individual Risk

·         Compliance on legal policies

Requirements:

·         Degree in MBCHB

·         HPCSA registration as an independent  medical practitioner

·         Mining experience is an advantage

·         Occupational Health Qualification, ACLS, PALS and ATLS and Pro-active healthcare experience
