A mining services company is urgently seeking Explosives Engineers to be based at various locations in SA.
Responsibilities:
· The role will be a direct link to the customer, by being on site during prime, load and shoot operations.
· Quality records and measurements are maintained of all production activities on site and any technical requirements by the customer are acknowledged.
· Timing, charging and blast results are recorded and a trend line as opposed to a target is measured, examined and are captured to assist company in providing beneficial feedback to help improve the cost effectiveness at the customer operations.
Requirements:
· 5 years’ experience in mining and blasting either in open pit or underground operations
· Code B driver’s license
· NHD or BSC Mining Engineering qualification or relevant mining/explosives experience
