Underground Central Blasting System Technicians – Free State
A mining services company is urgently seeking Explosives Engineers
Responsibilities:
· Installation and commissioning of all centralised blasting equipment, both on surface and underground as well as supporting existing network business with regular audits and maintenance.
· To give on-the-job training and coaching of mine personnel so as to ensure the safe and correct use of the system.
· Identification and repair of network problems to ensure safe and timely operation of the system in order to eliminate lost blasts.
· Co-ordinate record keeping of network performance such that it can be regularly presented to mine management to demonstrate the value of the system.
Requirements:
· Electrical/Electronic diploma,
· must be trade tested,
· 3 years’ experience,
· must have a valid driver’s license.
