GroupDisability Case Manager- Mining - Gauteng

A mining giant is urgently seeking a Group Disability Case Manager to be responsible for service delivery focused on individual health risk management and the management of service suppliers whilst employee wellbeing and productivity will be optimized by the creation of new, creative, and sustainable health care and business solutions.

The Group Case Manager (Disability) manages will be responsible for disability management, analysis of the disease trends analysis and disease management patterns.

Responsibilities:     

·         Data Collation of Absenteeism management reports from shaft disability board.

·         Do a holistic trend analysis of the data.

·         Assess disease Management patterns and reports on them.

·         Prepares and distributes Absenteeism reports to the Central Medical Review Board.

·         Identify problem Cases and institute appropriate actions plans to the Group case managers for implementation at shafts.

·         Ability to perform all procedures and tasks to procedural requirements.

·         Use of initiative to deal with unusual situations.

·         Use of clinical systems.

·         Consistent high standard of administration.

·         Courtesy towards employees i.e. privacy, dignity and confidentiality etc.

·         Use of Coqnos BI Tool.

·         Relationship with external service providers.

·         Liaise with the Group Case managers.

·         Liaise with On-shaft and In-hospital, case managers, Doctors, Specialists and HR .

·         Identify problem practitioners and advice on the appropriate action to the Group case managers.

·         Serves as the link between the Group disability board and on-shaft review board.

·         Performs Ad Hoc audits and visits to medical stations and hospitals.

Requirements:        

• Appropriate qualification as professional nurse
• Experience in managing various teams.
• People management skills
• Computer literacy
• Language skills
• Case management experience especially in disease risk department
• Disability management experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
