A plant hiring, opencast and drill & blast contractor mining company is urgently seeking a Maintenance Manager to be based in Mpumalanga
Responsibilities:
· Implementing and preparing short, medium and long-term maintenance and operation services plans
· Developing and implementing technical standards and quality assurance systems to optimize integrity of maintenance processes
· Directing, coordinating and integrating all technical aspect of operational maintenance projects in accordance with requirements including scheduling procurement plans and work plans
· Developing, implementing and sustaining as asset management strategy in line with corporate standards
· Coordination, preparing and submitting working cost and capital budgets and analysing and reviewing on a monthly basis
Requirements:
· Government certificate of Competency
· Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification
· Mechanical engineer or trade background
· South African with 5 -10 years’ experience on earthmoving equipment (CAT, etc)
· For the mobile plant (not fixed)
· Open-pit mining experience essential
