Procurement Superintendent – (Mining / Engineering / Construction) - Mpumalanga

CA Mining: has a client looking for a Procurement Superintendent to develop and manage sourcing strategies for Reductant and Flux (R&F) procurement to reduce risks, exposures and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to the chrome mining Group

Responsibilities:

Achieve agreed KPI targets

•         Implement Reductant & Fluxes Customer Complaints System

•         Conduct Customer Satisfaction Surveys

•         Establish and maintain effective communication channels and networks between customers and suppliers

•         Investigate, resolve and follow up R&F Customer queries and complaints

•         Resolve customer queries / complaints

Policies and Procedures:

•         Identify and drive savings initiatives for company to achieve identified savings

Safety, Health, Environment and Quality:

•         Identify and assess level of issue based risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.

Suppliers Relations:

•         Manage relationships with key Suppliers

•         Liaise with Suppliers and deal with supply, availability, quality and price issues

•         Procurement Management:

Financial Management:

•         Manage the Procurement budget

•         Assist the Manager in the preparation of budgets, cost and/or any other shipping related reporting

•         Control costs in area of responsibility, Ensure Corporate Governance

•         Comply with Financial Policies and Procedures, Protect company assets

•         Reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and establish a competitive advantage through proactive procurement

·         Also manage and handle the Supplier Management, Contract Administration, Contract Management, Tenders, Reporting, BEE/Transformation, Cost/Value Optimisation, Manage the Section, Customer Relations

Requirements:

•         Degree or Technikon Diploma

•         At least 5 years relevant procurement experience

•         SAP experience advantageous
