CA Mining: has a client who is looking for an Engineering Manager that will be based at their Mine Site in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:
• Engineering Governance for the mine according to company standards
• Commissioning of the Engineering Department
• Ensure that processes and procedures comply with statutory requirements
• Ensure cost optimization of assets, ensure asset availability and reliability
• Compile and implementing of PAM strategy
• People Management to ensure a high performance organization
• Achievement of EE targets
• Life cycle management of assets
• Compile and manage a departmental budget
• Evaluation & completion of capital projects with minimum risk, on time & within budget
• Create and maintain a positive business climate and high performance culture
• Coordinate contractor management
• Adhere and implementation of all SHEQ & other legal requirements
• Living the values of KIO (great team)
• Good knowledge of project management, management of people principles and business strategy development
• Actively manage/lead safety to achieve zero harm
Requirements
• Appropriate 4 year Engineering Degree (B Eng mechanical/electrical)
• Business Management or Post Graduate qualification will serve as recommendation
• 10-12 years relevant experience of which at least 5 years in Supervisory/Management position
• GCC certificate
