CA Mining has a client that is urgently seeking a Business Unit Manager to manage their business unit based in Johannesburg
Responsibilities
· Draft, negotiate and secure contracts for local and international clientele
· Promote the image, capability and integrity of the company to the clients
· Be a representative of the business unit managerially and technically to existing clientele and potential customers
· Responsible for financial management of the Environmental Business unit by ensuring accurate billing
· Conceptualize, plan and execute business strategies that will minimize cost and ensure profit or gain to the company
· Business development to ensure revenue and profitability with a long term successful performance
Requirements
· Relevant tertiary qualification, MBA an advantage
· A minimum of 5 years consulting experience
· At least 3 years’ experience in environmental/lab testing or analytical services and most importantly experience in managing the P&L of a business is also required
· Minimum 5 years business experience, with demonstrable skill in running a profitable environmental consulting business unit
