In this role you will be responsible for the management of all operational processes and resources relating to a specific section of my clients deep underground gold mine.
Responsibilities
• Effective optimisation and Asset Optimisation of the Operations Mine Planning processes and capabilities
• Development of mine plans and schedules for the Operation
• Ensure compliance of Legal and Operational standards, policies and procedures with regards to Mine Planning through overseeing integrated risk management in the design of Mining blocks
• Financial Budgeting & Management
• Enforce and maintain discipline standards in his/her area of responsibility
• Training and development of subordinates
Minimum Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• A Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
• 10 to 15 years mining experience, preferably in deep-level gold mining or platinum mining
• A certificate of fitness, or the ability to obtain one
Contract Status
• Permanent contract based in Gauteng, South Africa
• Open to South African citizen only
