My client, a mining contracting company, is currently seeking a Chief Buyer to take overall responsibility of the Buying/Procurement department, managing a team of 11 buyers responsible for approximately 32000 orders a month.

Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• At least 10 years buying experience within the mining sector with at least 5 years experience operating at a senior/management level
• Experience interacting with stores, receiving, dispatch, warehousing, transport, logistics, import and export
• Experience using the Assist ERP system will be advantageous
• SAP knowledge will be advantageous
• Excellent management and team delegation skills/experience
Contract Status
• This is a permanent role to be based in South Africa. My client requires South African nationals
